“No matter where you come from or what you’ve done, the experiences that you have, we all have a common hope to make this place a better place.” Further Together is an outreach initiative that brings younger and older adults together to get to know one another and to create deep connections in hopes of reducing the divide younger and older generations experience. Through service projects and other events, Hazel and her team take what they’ve learned in the Obama Foundation Leadership Corps program and put it into action.
