Winner of the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival, the highly anticipated new film by Joel and Ethan Coen follows a struggling folk musician (Oscar Isaac) as he tries to make it big in 1961 Greenwich Village.

Following their outings to the Great Depression (O Brother, Where Art Thou? ), the West both Old (True Grit) and New (No Country for Old Men), and the Golden Age of Hollywood (Barton Fink), in their award-winning new film Joel and Ethan Coen travel to another emblematic era of American history: New York's Greenwich Village during the folk-music explosion of the 1960s. Our eponymous hero (Oscar Isaac) is a coffee-house troubadour who bounces around the folk-music scene, constantly bumming off both friends and strangers, until a Kerouac-like road trip takes his aimless life through a particularly surreal looking-glass. Winner of the Grand Prix at Cannes, featuring marvelous support from co-stars Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, Garrett Hedlund and Coens regular John Goodman, and with a wonderful vintage folk soundtrack curated by T-Bone Burnett, Inside Llewyn Davis is one of the year's must-see films.
