Washington, D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray and several city council members were arrested Monday for blocking Senate office buildings during a protest against budget deals struck by Congress late last week. Since D.C. is a federal entity, Congress has final budget approval. Gray and others were protesting provisions in the federal budget on abortions for low-income women and private school voucher programs.
