The Montreal based crew which was started back in 2005 by BBoy Zig (along with Lost Child & Kamikazi) is celebrating the 5th year!

The crew officially made its appearance in 2007 at Ottawa's House of Paint annual event, winning their first battle! Members at the time included: Zig, Lost Child, Original Rudes member 4everfresh and Kamikazi. Not long after, System, Reflex Foundation (Victoria BC) co-founder and member, joined the crew in 2008 which at the time formed the corps members.

All members, sharing a similar view on BBoying and Hip Hop culture, set out to become one of Canada's top crews by taking the nation by storm!

Quickly, the crew started to expand and soon enough grew to a solid 9 members: Zig, Lost Child, 4everfresh, Kamikazi, System, Sancho, Torpedo, Monsta Pop & Aplus. Now being part of the international Bboy scene, Fresh Format sets out to inspire and be inspired and to cary out it's mission: Representing the essence of Hip Hop through the element of Bboying, perfecting and creating new ways of expressing this particular art form.
