[Instagram Clip] - Here is one of our myth-busting students. What am I referring to? 1.A small female or individual can't control duty caliber weapons effectively and safely. Wrong, see for yourself. That's a Glock 43 running full load ammo. Small gun with snappy ammo and she's doing fine. There is something to a solid grip...... 2. It takes years of toil to learn to defend yourself with a handgun. BS, proper training and a strong will to excel and you can learn quickly. This woman had her first lesson just a couple of months back. The take away - She had a desire to gain the skill to defend herself and family. She applied that desire with a solid plan and immersed herself into the task and took it seriously and kept her mind open to learn. All of us should work on being a good student when it's our turn to be listening and learning, be it on the range, at our job, with our family or even when that little voice inside you is trying to tell you something. Learn how to listen and grow. The common thread here isn't tactics or gear it's the status of our thoughts. Emerson said, "A man is what he thinks about all day long."
