Driving. A closer look at the hairpin turns, Trollstigen, Norway. We drove here from Alesund, Norway. We were on a cruise, on the Adventure of the Seas (Royal Caribbean), sailing out of Southampton, UK. Today, the ship called at the port of Alesund. We picked up a rental car from Avis/Budget, which was a short walk from the cruise terminal and started our drive to Trollstigen. They upgraded us to a BMW 520d, which was nice!
