This is Part 4 of the Mini Course Video Series on How To Paint A Car.

In this video, I show you the same Mazda Miata Project we have been working on. We already have most of the body work done. Please watch it as I show you how I inspect dings, dents, and low spots to see which areas still need further work.

You will see that we still have to work on our front. We still had to fill some areas up with bondo after doing some epoxy. What we did there was, we flattened it out with an 80-grit sandpaper on a DA Sander. We make sure that the body kit was flat so when you see it looking all white like that, that’s how you know it’s flat.

I go over more areas, thoroughly inspecting so you can see how you should do it on your own projects. Some areas already feel good to me so they didn’t need any more work done. They didn’t feel like there’s uneven spots when I touch them.

There were some cracks that we just fixed with some epoxy, too. So please watch the video now to see how we have progressed work on the car from the previous videos.
