As Chris Phillips spoke Tuesday, March 22, 2016, the backdrop was all about Ottawa Senators history. Phillips, though, is not quite ready to say that his Senators career is over. Indeed, there are concerns beyond hockey. His back pain has made even some of the most routine events difficult at times, it hurts just to get out of a chair and he doesnt want to risk long-term off-ice damage. Beyond taking steps with his kids on the ice, Phillips says he hasnt skated in months.
