Shigao-Mollem villagers have been facing problems as wild animals are inflicting damage in their fields. Mining ban has already crushed the economy of the belt and to add to the trouble is crops destruction by animals. Shashikant Velip is one of such farmers who have lost around 20 tonne of sugarcane crop. Concern departments have already been informed about the animal attacks, but none have come up to help, says Shashikant.
