भारत -पाक महामुकबले में ये खिलाडी बाहर हो सकता है iभारत का मुकाबला एशिया कप में हॉन्ग कॉन्ग के साथ हुआ। भारतीय टीम ने पहली पारी में बल्लेबाजी करते हुए 50 ओवरों में 7 विकेट के नुकसान पर 285 रन बनाये। जवाब में हॉन्ग कॉन्ग की टीम ने अच्छा जवाबी हमला जड़ा और पहले विकेट के लिए 34.1 ओवर में 174 रन की साझेदारी की पर भारत यह मैच 26 रन से जीत गया।इस मैच में भारत के 222वें खिलाड़ी ने एक दिवसीय मुकाबले में पर्दार्पण किया, जिनका नाम खलील अहमद है। वह बाएं हाथ के तेज़ गेंदबाज है और ट्राई नेशन अंडर 19 टूर्नामेंट में 12 विकेट चटकाए और सेलेक्टर की नज़रों में आये।इस मैच में उन्होंने शानदार गेंदबाजी करते हुए 10 ओवर में 48 रन देकर 3 विकेट लिए। इसमें उन्होंने पहला विकेट एलबीडबल्यू से निजाकत खान को आउट कर लिया। निज़ाकत खान उस वक्त 115 गेंद पर ९92 रन बनाकर खेल रहे थे और वह 8 रन से शतक चूक गए।
