I wrote this song yesterday, but it's a little different from my normal writing style. This time I focused very much on making the vocals the main driving melody, rather than the chord progression (which is just mostly A to D, or Dsus2). I used an old "Beatle" trick which is having a two part harmony while the lower part descends, the high part stays on the original note (like in Please Please Me). But mine's a little different, since I sing a straight E through the A and over the D chord, which makes it a Dsus2. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the song, more 60s originals are coming!
