Chart-topping singer John Legend has revealed he relishes cooking alongside his wife Chrissy Teigen over the festive season.

John Legend's favourite part of Christmas is cooking alongside his wife Chrissy Teigen.

The singer has revealed he loves spending time in the kitchen with his wife during the festive season.

Speaking to E! News, John shared that making food is the best part of the holiday. 

John isn’t the only foodie in the family, as model Chrissy has written two cookbooks over the last two years. 

And of course there is one recipe John particularly enjoys during the winter months.

He revealed that French onion soup is perfect for the cold weather during the winter season. 

Meanwhile John previously admitted that he doesn’t want to spoil his and Chrissy’s children Luna and Miles this Christmas. 

He said that he wants to keep the holiday at a normal level and confessed its hard to know how to treat his kids over the festive period. 

John also spoke about Christmas memories and revealed he and his family used to exchange small gifts and sing around his Grandmother’s piano.

He added that something from his wine range LVE, his Christmas album 'A Legendary Christmas'  and Chrissy’s cookbooks would make the perfect Christmas basket.
