Crono and his friends traverse Mt. Woe to find Melchior trapped in a prison with a large monster known as Giga Gaia blocking its path.Giga Gaia is very excited if you rely on this strategy. The battle will begin with Giga Gaia unleashing two attacks; one of shadow and one of fire. Heal and then focus on the arms by means of using the Dual Tech, Falcon Hit which will hit both arms for over 1000 damage. Do a Falcon Hit one more time to take both arms down and then concentrate on the head. Use your strongest Techs such as Lightning Rod, Thunder Chomp and Bubble Burst. When the arms come back, use Falcon Hit to take them down. Other than that, not much to say.After that, Melchior is free and the Mountain of Woe falls. Schala comes by only to get captured by Dalton. We get the Red Knife from Melchior and now we must head to the Floating Continent once more.
