So when my friend and monster drummer Jeroen Simons contacted me to ask if I was interested in doing some jamming and recording again, this tune popped into my head. In fact it has always been there, 'cause I find myself humming some of the melodies from time to time. And melody is really what this song is all about. It has this high energy vibe to it, reminiscent of Andy Timmons and Joe Satriani, some of my favorite players when it comes to great instrumental electric guitar music. Not just mindless shredding, but MUSIC. It reminds me of summer, good times, travelling, that kind of stuff, hence the title. Sometimes you can look up to the sky and see all those white stripes from planes going everywhere. I thought that image perfectly fits in with this song. Enjoy!
