Day Trading Gold Futures for record-breaking profits

We opened our charts and saw the dollar in a very narrow trading range, slow speed, and a bunch of random news events all squeezed into the US trading session. Gold was trading at the highs of a sideways range, and the crude oil was right in the middle of the range. The Dollar tested the highs after 8:30am Jobless Claims came out lower than expected, and that sent the markets moving! We sold the highs on gold, then bought the lows, and then took the breakout at the highs, and before 9:00am we had earned over $1,150usd on only 3 trades.
