High Court disposed off petition filed by bar owners of Dongurli and Surla-Sattari, whose bars have been currently closed down by the authorities to prevent nuisance created by the tourists. High Court has directed petitioner bar owners to place their case before Director of Panchayat challenging the order of Dongurli-Thane panchayat suspending their NOCs to operate bars. Director of Panchayat has fixed date of 12th October to hear their case. Disposing off the petition, the High Court observed that Director of Panchayat is the appropriate authority to hear this case.
