My 300 watt wind turbine. I bought it from a firm in China and set it up on an old radio mast. It had enough power to easily light up 4 x 50watt halogen lamps without a battery, in a modest wind. With a high wind it would blow the lamps so it became mandatory to connect to a 24 volt lead acid deep cycle battery bank for charging.
