Bought for a lands end to John O'Groats run, the cub wasn't starting well, smoking and misfiring. £35 for a new carb, and a few mins with the spanners, and she is running like a Swiss watch. The bike had been knocked over when with its previous owner, I'm guessing the carb filled with oil, hence the smoking, flooding and misfiring. Sorted now - a little five tuning to do but it pulled up to 50mph without too much trouble.
