I finally got the igniter to send feedback (IGF) signals back to the ECU, without the coils actually being connected to the igniter. The igniter still needs its 12v and ground, and each of it's connectors that go to the ignition coil negatives need to be fed the 14V. Most of you already know a healthy car runs at more than 14V if you don't have a lot of things running.
