Paddled 7/15/16. Drizzle/overcast, approx. 10mph winds. Canoed from Greenhead Rd. landing (Mayville) to Nebraska St. landing (Horicon) and back. The water trail is approx. 6.5 miles. Wildlife sightings included: 2 adult bald eagles, 3 juvenile bald eagles, american white pelicans, double-crested cormorants, tree swallows, barn swallows, black terns, great blue heron, great egret, common yellowthroat, yellow warbler, song sparrow, marsh wrens, red-winged black birds, muskrat, common carp
