By using just the car's monocular camera, it is able to recognise the context of what it is seeing, and when match with the car's various parameters, the system can actually conduct extremely accurate HD mapping of its surrounding, its driving environment to a cloud based system that can instantly update every other car with the system. Greatly enhancing accuracy of environmental changes and crucial for making sure autonomous mobility works.
