Margao Wholesale Fish Market Association has given memorandum to FDA Minister Vishwajit Rane. They have demanded appointment of Iva Fernandes as in-charge to check fish in market and have requested for 2 months time for FDA registration formalities. FDA Minister Vishwajit Rane has however rejected any suggestions from fish traders’ representatives on posting Iva Fernandes stating that enquiry on Iva should complete and being minister he would take his own decision in this regard. He has further stated that there would be no changes or relaxation on FDA compliance decision.
