IMF Chief Says World Economy Will Likely Shrink This Year

Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, said on Tuesday that the world economy is likely to shrink this year, and a recent World Bank survey backs that up. In Washington, the head of the Federal Reserve urged Congress to pass comprehensive financial reform to prevent any future global crises.
