This is a quick video shot at the end of a lesson on the Beatles' Blackbird to demonstrate another way to play the accompaniment besides Paul's original part on the recording. This video does not go into the accompaniment in-depth, or into the chords played with the fretting hand. On the original recording, Paul uses a "thumb and one" approach. That is, he alternates picking with his thumb and forefinger and strumming with the same forefinger. Some players (and teachers) like to play this song with a Travis picking style such as this for the picking hand. Classical guitar players sometimes use this type of fingerpicking when playing this song.
