The prevention of HIV and sexually transmitted infections among adolescents remains a concern for Zimbabwe authorities. It’s exacerbated by, among other things, a lack of youth-friendly services. About 11-percent of adolescents in the high density suburb of Mbare in Harare are failing treatment and are being switched to second line anti-retroviral treatment.
