Dramatic moment police arrest two men after 400km wild car chase

A man who allegedly kidnapped a woman, her mother and two teenage boys in an ordeal that lasted 16 hours had recently separated from his long-time girlfriend. Jason Scott McKay, 44 is the man police allege took his ex-girlfriend Bridgette Fitzgerald, 41, her mother and two boys aged 13 and 14 from a farm in Ootha, in the NSW Central West, and drove them over 400km to the outskirts of Sydney. The lengthy ordeal came to an end in the Hawkesbury region on Tuesday night, when the grandmother and teenagers were dropped off on the side of the road at Windsor. Mr McKay and Ms Fitzgerald, were found about 11.30pm in bushland at Blaxlands Ridge, police said.
