A lender's requirement that an inspecting architect certify that a condo project was built in accordance with the plans and city codes theoretically provides some protection to condo buyers. Home inspector Tom Corbett, as part of a longer discussion with YoChicago's Joe Zekas, contends that inspecting architects too often don't know or understand what they're looking at.
