Ightham Mote is a magnificent very early fortified manor house build only a few years after Bodiam Castle which can also be seen in my series of films. The manor house is built around a moat and boasts very attractive gardens. It survived destruction during the Civil War because the parliamentarian troops could not find it and this is not a surprise because it is no so easy for today's motorist to find either. The family who owned it could not afford the upkeep and donated it to the National Trust. I have a wide range of interests and I think that this is reflected in the films which can be seen here. I am the publisher of Central and Eastern European Packaging -- http://www.ceepackaging.com - the international platform for the packaging industry in this region focussing on the latest innovations, trends, design, branding, legislation and environmental issues with in-depth profiles of major industry achievers.
