The Segal Family Foundation held its Annual Meeting at the Lighthouse Conference Center in Midtown, Manhattan. Former President Bill Clinton was the keynote speaker for the event. Segal Family Foundation has donated over $13million dollars to at least 150 grantees in Sub-Saharan Africa with various development projects, that include orphanages, hospitals, clinics, schools and many others. Former NBA player Dikembe Mutombo was among the high profile African and International celebrities who support the cause and who are running projects in Africa.
