(27 Nov 2018) U.S. President Donald Trump will be holding meetings with a long list of world leaders during his trip to Argentina for the G-20 later this week, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and China's Xi Jinping. Previewing the summit, National Security adviser John Bolton says Trump will also be meeting with Mauricio Macri, the president of Argentina, South Korea's Moon Jae-in, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During remarks with reporters, Bolton said there would be a "full agenda" of talks between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin including, "security issues, arms control issues, on regional issues including the Middle East." Only after he was prompted by reporters did Bolton answer that "sure," Ukraine would also be discussed. In response to questions, Bolton said he hadn't listened to the recording of the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. "What am I going to learn if they speak Arabic," he said, adding that the president had taken the recording into account when he decided his position. Bolton added that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo would hold discussions Monday with the incoming Mexican Foreign Minister and that talks would include border security matters.
