Ask anyone who has a job in Dubai, UAE - what is his greatest fear? And without even blinking for a second the response across the board will be just one answer - Job Security or Losing ones job without any new job contract in sight. 
Now the reason this is such a big issue is because when an individual or expat based in Dubai, UAE - once he loses his job, he cannot go home and relax and think about what options he has next. Rather he has to immediately figure out a solution to his problem - that is getting another job because if he doesn't have a job, means he doesn't have a visa. And if an expat in UAE doesn't have a visa - he cannot stay in the country. He has to leave. And along with him - his family - his wife and children also have to leave with him. 
This can cause a massive problem for families especially if the child is going through school, the spouse is a housewife and the only earning person is that single person.
