Plane that crash-landed in Guyana sits resting on sand

A Fly Jamaica Boeing jet headed from Georgetown airport, in Guyana, suffered a hydraulic fault ten minutes into the flight and had to make an emergency landing in the early hours of Friday (left). While coming back into land, the pilot overshot the runway (top right), crashing through a wire fence (bottom right) before ending up bogged down in a pit of sand. Six people of the 128 passengers and crew on board had to be taken to hospital afterwards, though it is not known how badly they were injured.
