The Hon. Shannon Phillips, Minister of Environment and Parks for Alberta, wrote an op-ed that appeared in the Calgary Sun on June 23, 2018, entitled "On Climate Change, Albertans expect their leaders to lead." Phillips lauded the CEO of Suncor for his stance on 'deniers' - this video clip disputes Phillips' commentary and asks why Albertans should subsidize Big Oil's wind and solar farms, and what's up with NEI Investment's influence on Climate Policy in Alberta. Regarding climate leadership, Alberta had the first comprehensive climate plan in Canada, established in 2002, so Albertans have always been leader in climate and the environment. Alberta’s First Climate Leadership Plan was Established in 2002 Unfortunately this plan was smeared by foreign funded activists.
