Representative Tom Emmer complains about the DFL's plan to tax "take home pay" of couples making more than $200,000. Earlier Senator Tom Bakk explained that the tax is not on earned income, but on taxable income. A couple can actually earn much more than $200K before the additional tax would kick in because there are deductions and credits.
