THE GOOD

The graphics are absolutely beautiful. It looks like you're playing live movie with CG characters.

The music was quirky. It sounds like something Danny Elfman would score.

The mixture of puzzle and platform are seamless intertwined. It's not just jumping from one place to another.

Lots of excellent mini-games. I don't know how long they all last as I haven't completed finished any of them but most of them have at least 10 levels to play. Some of them could have made great inexpensive games by themselves.

Loads of replay value. There is no way you're going to find everything during the first story run. And it's fun to go back and find everything.

DARN! I FORGOT TO MENTION THE PYTHONESQUE NARRATION WHICH IS REALLY COOL!

                                                            THE BAD

The controls are not the best. It sometimes felt as if I needed all 10 fingers just to do a simple task.

Sometimes the touch function was touchy especially when you needed to use it to get Sackboy to bounce somewhere. I don't know if this is a game flaw or way the Vita is designed. The folks at Sony should take a look at how Nintendo does touchscreen controls.

The PopIt button would pop up when you mean to hit the jump button. The reason for the PopIt button is to use the stickers collected there. It might have been a good idea to only allow the button to work when you come across a place to put a sticker.

The gyroscope absolutely sucks on both the Vita and the 3DS.

The story mode is incredibly short.

Despite these flaws, Little Big Planet for the Vita is a great buy, some folks might balk at the $40 price tag but if the price goes down or if you love the Little Big Planet franchise, I think you'll love this one.
