(16 Nov 2018) U.S. President Donald Trump presented the Presidential Medal of Freedom to football stars Roger Staubach and Alan Page as well as posthumous medals to American legends Elvis Presley and Babe Ruth. The four were honored Friday at the White House. Staubach is the Hall of Fame former quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, and Page was elected to the Minnesota Supreme Court after an NFL career with the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears. Jack Soden, president and CEO of Elvis Presley Enterprises, accepted the Medal of Freedom on behalf of the Presley Family, and Thomas Stevens, Ruth's grandson, accepting the medal on behalf of the Sultan of Swat.
