MERMAID NAMES: What is your mer story? What did you chose for your mermaid name? The name that I chose for my Mersona (a persona for mermaiding) is "Phantom." Now... I'm well aware that Phantom isn't exactly the most mermaid-y thing to call myself... HOWEVER! I have my reasons for picking the name that I did, and I'm sure you have a story to tell about yours as well.

In this video, I share with you WHY I picked such a ghostly and creepy sounding thing to go by as a mermaid, and invite you to share your story too. If you are a mermaid, merman or mercreature of any sort or type, what do you call yourself? Do you use your real name? Or do you prefer to go by a different name? Does your chosen name have any special meaning or symbolic value to you? What is the story behind your mermaid identity?

I would absolutely LOVE it if you could share the tale of how/ why you decided to call yourself what you do. You can type up a reply and leave it in the comments of this video, OR you can go on ahead and create your OWN video and share the link in the comments. Don't forget to include #MermaidNames in the title!

♥(P.S.) You DON'T have to be a Professional Mermaid to take part in this... this is something fun for mers from all walks of life to take part in... you don't even have to have a tail! You simply have to be a mermaid (or selkie, or siren, or naiad, water spirit, ect. ;D) at heart. ♥

♥♥ All appropriate videos will be added to a playlist so that we can go on a mer-tale binge-watch! ♥♥
