The new GCM Expedition Adventure has begun! This new format will give us all maximum trail time, and a super fun course on team with our favorite #tinytruckers! Check below for the event description and rules: All new in 2018, the GCM Expedition Adventure! This is a TEAM event, 2-4 people per TEAM! Each event opens with sign in and Truck Tech. TECH SCORING You will get 1 point for each of the following: 1. 5+ NON functional items 2. 3+ Actual FUNCTIONING items 3. Frame mounted steering servo 4. Functional transfer case 5. 3D engine in vehicle 6. Driver with visible legs AND feet 7. Total Tire Tuck 8. Opening and closing body panel Each truck in the team adds to the TEAM TECH SCORE total. Each TEAM TRUCK will be entered in the GCM #tinytruck Gallery. GALLERY 1. Gallery votes will be recorded in the following categories: Best Old Look Truck, Best New Look Truck, Best Engine Bay, Best Scale Accessory, Best Interior, Best Driver, Best Paint/Weathering, Best Detail, Best Metal Work, Best of Show #tinytrucks 2. Gallery voting is done by all the event registered drivers, not by event staff. 3. Awards are given at the end of the event in each category by most peer votes total, and votes are NOT connected with final GCM Expedition Adventure trail scoring. Expedition Trail opens! Using your TEAM EXPEDITION card for scoring and notes, each team will OverLand through 20 waypoints by number, on a lightly guided trail through the property. The RULES: 1. Any vehicle repairs can only be done after completing the stage, and logging successful waypoint achievement. Broken or disabled vehicles must be TOWED, or HAULED, or RECOVERED by TEAM members using ONLY TRUCKS and scale recovery equipment. Log all activity on the card. 2. Any HOG or 'air lifting' or 'kicking' is prohibited and you must log a DNF on that stage until the next waypoint. Log all activity on the card. 3. After finishing a stage with ALL TEAM trucks, any repairs, battery changes, body resetting, equipment changes, engine cool down, tire change, or wrenching can be done at this time with no penalty. This activity must be done AT THE WAYPOINT SIGN, and not on trail. Log all activity on the card. 4. Any disabled vehicle can be replaced at any completed waypoint sign. The team can continue with a replacement vehicle from this point. Each disabled vehicle replacement will account for 1 penalty on the team. TECH score from the original vehicle will be logged, not any replacement vehicle. Log all activity on the card. 5. Every stage between WayPoints will have one bonus line, and it will be tight gated both sides. Each vehicle on the TEAM must successfully pass through with NO GATE CONTACT to check off the bonus line achievement. If you contact the gate or can not pass one vehicle through the bonus section, you can not check off the achievement. 6. All activity that's not conducted by the a truck and the driver of that truck must be logged. Trail driving is not logged. Self recovery is not logged. Epic rock climbs are not logged. Water crossing is not logged. If ANYONE on the TEAM is involved with anyone else on the team or their vehicle, THIS must be logged. Towing, winching with a 2nd truck, borrowing equipment from another, using another vehicles battery power or tires, any TEAM activity must be logged on the card.
