UK campaigner slams May's decision to postpone Brexit vote

(11 Dec 2018) Businesswoman and anti-Brexit campaigner Gina Miller Tuesday condemned Theresa May's decision to cancel the Brexit vote in the House of Commons, saying the current impasse had damaged Britain's reputation around the world. Miller stressed if there was no agreement by January 21st then parliament had the right to take control and the next step should be a people's vote. A financial entrepreneur, Gina Miller took the British government to court in a successful bid to win Parliament a vote on Brexit. She also launched a group called "End the Chaos", campaigning for a second referendum.
