China, EU trade friction on steel

The European Commission announced on Saturday that it would investigate steel imports from China and launch provisional anti-dumping measures on cold-rolled flat steel products from China. An official with China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said on Sunday that the EC should be prudent, restrained and lawful in employing trade remedy instruments. He said China always advocates dialogue to tackle the problems.
