Thomas Rainer and Hannes Medwenitsch got to know eachother in 1996 in Vienna and they decided to do music together. The female vocals for L'ÂME IMMORTELLE came from Sonja Kraushofer. The unique mix of fast beats, angry electro and distorted vocals, deep lyrics, catchy melodies and amazing female vocals hit the gothic szene in Germany like a bomb. After successful concerts all over the world and a big amount of single- and album-releases Hannes Medwenitsch had to leave the band in 2002 because of health reasons. Sonja and Thomas decided to go on as a duo. New support they got from their guitarist Ashley Dayour. He also did some song writing with them. In the year 2008 the album "Namenlos" was released including the single "The Cleansing". The hardstyle act Clubdivision aka Kenny Laakkinen, Thilo Klas, dj s4cr1f1c3 and Steffen Erkenberg did a new production of the track and together L'ÂME IMMORTELLE and the guys of Clubdivision decided to release this track in 2009.
