- Islam isn't confined to Arabia, Arabic, or Arabs - From the beginning, Islam was pronounced for all mankind, for all times - Righteousness and Taqwa - Spirit of Humility and oneness through Hajj - Fostering equality - Developing and exercising patience in Hajj - The sanctity of Muslim lives - The same Arab countries who built and supported terrorists are now playing innocence, pledging support against them "Islam isn't only for the Arabs, the Quraysh, the people of Makkah/Madina. It's for all people, of all times. Doesn't matter where you come from or what your color is. These things don't mean anything, other than a reflection of God's power. He created all of us from one, but then divided us into different forms." "Hajj is a world gathering. Nowadays we have the term 'global village'. May Allah bless National Geographic, you can see the world sitting at home. But there was a time when people didn't know a thing about even the neighboring country. 100 yrs ago the only time Muslims came to realize that there were Muslims of other colors, backgrounds, & languages, was during Hajj." "A Haji is expected to return home with a colorblind view towards other Muslims. If they come back with no transformation towards other Muslims, then they've done the ritual, but they haven't gained anything spiritual." "When you do Tawaf, in the same Ehram with thousands of others, you realize you're nothing but a humble servant. If that realization doesn't come to you, then you need to go for Hajj again." "A poet said 'A raindrop separates from the cloud, from the other drops, and as its falling, picking up speed, it may think 'I am something special'. Only when it hits the ocean, it realizes 'I am nothing, insignificant'." "It's a challenge for us, especially in North America where our community is made up of diverse backgrounds. This is an opportunity, a blessing, where we can build a next generation which doesn't look at fellow Muslims through their color, culture, or language." "Saudi Grand Mufti said in his khutba that 'ISIS is against Islam, religion, & humanity. They are like the Khawarij' We welcome his remark, but with one complaint. Where were you when Shias were being killed? Why weren't these words used earlier? You should have told your own rulers that this is against Islam, religion & humanity. Now that it may come to your own borders, you are afraid."
