Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these "makers" to show hobbies, experiments, projects.

bout the Montreal Mini Maker Faire
Montreal Mini Maker Faire is co-presented by Maker Media and Concordia University with an organization team drawn from the Milieux Institute for Arts, Culture and Technology and Montreal makers. We welcome young and old makers from all walks of life to present their projects – participation is free! The Faire is open to the public and admission will be free for all! Let’s celebrate Montreal’s rich and diverse maker scene together in November.

We are calling on all makers, do-it-yourselfers, hackers, tinkerers, inventors and creators to bring us the most amazing show and tell Montreal has ever seen. Bring us your most engaging, interactive, playful and inspiring projects! Share with each other and the public, and support the maker movement.

Maker Faire originated in 2006 in the San Francisco Bay Area as a project of the editors of Make: magazine. It has since grown into a significant worldwide network of both flagship and independently-produced events. Read more on Maker Faire history, the Maker Movement, as well as how to start a Maker Faire or a School Maker Faire where you live.
