It's Doxie again!! This time, she'd quite played herself out, and was down for a little relaxation time. She spent three hours cooped up with me in Jenny's Room just laying around on me and purring as I would not stop petting her the whole time.. Then later on I tried trimming a cat's claws for the first time ever, and Doxie was the test. She kept getting them stuck in the couch, to the point where I had to grip the claw and pull it out for her.. She was making me sad, so I decided to help her. She was fantastic! The first three claws went without a single hitch, then she kinda went to the other side of the couch, where I couldn't reach. Here's the funny part: I didn't follow her, and she still wanted love.. So she came back about 3 minutes later, and I kid you not, she laid both paws in my hand and extended her claws. And just waited for me to cut them. So I did, and she was just relaxed as ever, like she didn't even care.. Or she did, and that's how she showed it, by giving me all the love in the form of purrs she had. The video sucks but I don't care... The audio is where it's all at for this girl today :-)
