Guy Martin spends one month exploring Russia at the height of diplomatic tensions to work out what life is really like away from the headlines. He participates in a typically leftfield and adrenaline-soaked set of activities, including flying an ex-Soviet fighter jet and riding with Vladimir Putin’s biker gang. By way of relaxation, his month long trip finishes with a trip to Ukraine to meet the people who live and work in the most radioactive place on Earth – the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
