This video spends most of it's 14 minute duration looking inside Scotland's most interesting abandoned railway tunnel. This place really eats up the light so I apologise for the grainy footage. I've complemented the video with plenty of photographs to show off the various features and points of interest in a better light. The footage showing the hilltop footpath was mostly recorded on the return journey, meaning that the lens had picked up plenty of dust from inside the tunnel. As such, you'll have to forgive some of the splodge covered footage when I'm outside. For some reason, having a narrow aperture flags up the dust spots far more than the trusty f8.0 I use for almost all my photography. Perhaps I need to start shooting the videos at f8.0 instead of letting the camera choose the aperture for me? Another point I should make about this video is that it was originally recorded to be part of an episode of Scotland vs. New Zealand but Andrew wasn't able to get any complimentary footage. As a result, there are a couple of strange cuts where I've had to edit out any reference I made to New Zealand. It's probably for the best anyway considering that this video is long enough as it is, especially for one with only one location in it.
