Danish Climate Minister Connie Hedegaard will be high up in the headlines these days as she is designated as president of the COP15 United Nations meeting on climate change in Copenhagen. From January, she will be the Climate Commissioner for the European Union, giving her a major international profile in the world of climate politics.
