This is part 14 in IGN's walkthrough for the story missions of Far Cry 3.

**POSSIBLE MISSION SPOILERS BELOW**

Jason learns that his friend Kieth was sold to a local mercenary named Buck. He travels to the Badtown bar to confront Buck, but instead is forced to help the hitman locate an ancient ceremonial knife - the same one that he saw in his vision at Citra's temple. Brody agrees to find the knife for Buck if he releases Kieth, and travels to the research ship, the Nostalgia, to learn of the knife's location. The ship, however, is overrun with pirates, and rigged to explode if any research is tampered with. 
After finding an ancient compass and escaping the sinking vessel, Jason is rescued and returned to land by Buck.
