First impression coverage on the new, single stack 9mm Glock 43, from the NRA Show 2015. 

We took a trip to Nashville, TN for the annual National Rifle Association conference/show and of the many companies/vendors there, Glock was one of the busiest booths thanks to the new 43.

The Glock 43 is their first single stack 9mm handgun, aimed to compete with the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield and Springfield XDs, among others. The unique thing about the 43 compared to it's primary rivals is the guns hyper-small size.

The Glock 43 is a mere fraction bigger than its smaller .380 ACP brother, the 42. This, along with the reliability of quality 9mm defense ammo will make the model 43 a force to be reckoned with for those seeking a micro carry gun, pocket gun, or even vehicle carry option.

Coupled with the known reputation that Glock has, it will be interesting to watch the competition when the initial dust settles and we see what the street value is.
