Sondra and Mr. Sondra are reunited in the world of podcasting! The episode features two title matches, so the stakes are high this week. Michael Cole opens the show to officiate a contract signing between Finn Bálor and Samoa Joe that doesn’t quite go as planned—and even though he’s in charge for the night, Cole doesn’t manage to ruin a great NXT episode. The Vaudevillains once again come up short against the Mechanics and fail to regain the tag team titles—and the surprise addition of Enzo and Cass to the title scene leaves the future uncertain. Of course, the podcast goes a bit long because there was so much to discuss about the main event between Bayley and Eva Marie. As Mr. Sondra says, all this match was missing was a guest timekeeper—but it was as wonderful despite (or because of?) its shenanigans. Plus: Dana and Emma put their evil plan into action against Asuka, Apollo Crews faces Jesse Sorenson, and Sami Zayn’s announced return sends Sondra into fits of happiness.
